Standing proud on the slopes of Mount Ucka, at an elevation of some 500m, the town of Veprinac offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Kvarner Bay, coastline and surrounding mountains. The coastal strip, some 40 km in length, from the bay of Preluk in the north to the little town of Brsec to the south, is called the Opatija Riviera.
