My great grandfather was Michael Kasun, who married
Pauline Brosovic. Apparently they had five sons; I only
know the names of three.
One was Nick (or Nikola) married to Frances Verbanac.
It seems he had a second wife named Mary Despot. One
was named Luke. Another was my grandfather Michael,
married to Katarina Stiglich in 1875 or 1876 in Croatia.
He left Croatia for the U.S. and ended up in Calumet
Michigan.
Any information on these names, especially their villages
of origin would be greatly appreciated.

Nickola Kasun, born 1860, married to Bara Perko or Bara
Vrbanac. Nick came to the States leaving his wife and
family in Croatia. Then his son, Nickola Kasun, left
in 1905, along with a sister Francis. Francis married
John Rebrovich in Minnesota. His son, Nick, married
Barbara Zimmer in PA.
Nickola Kasun was thought to have lived in Montana,
and departed the USA in 1912 to return to Croatia and
his wife. Nickola had a niece, Mary Kasun, who married
a Krammerage in WVA.
Marco Kasun is father to Nickola. I have no other information
on Marco. |

Stol, Croatia d. 9 Apr 1952 m. to Anna Phillips in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, USA.
Looking for any information about this line, i.e. ship
manifest, siblings, marriage certificate, prior generations,
etc.
Thank you in advance for any help. I know Ivan and Michael
had at some point emigrated to US. Have Michael married
in US 1899 and his naturalization papers in 1901. So
I know he emigrated before then. |

My grandmother Apolonia Kauzlarich was born in Mrkopalj
in 1901. She came to the United States in 1921 and settled
in Iowa. She died March, 1990, in Melcher, Iowa. I would
like to know if there is anyone named Kauzlarich still
residing in Mrkopalj.

son Anton born January 9, 1817. He had a son Anton born
May 25, 1861. This was my grandfather. What I am interested

came to New Zealand in the late 1890's from Drvenik-Markaska
Dalmatia. I have visited the village and would like
contact with someone who can assist in Croatia with
sourcing birth certificates/registry etc of this family
