Magnolia yulan, close relative of the popular Magnolia grandiflora - originally from China and Japan, it found it's second home in southern Europe.
The large beautiful flowers, together with their subtle pleasant fragrance, can be enjoyed throughout the entire spring.
It is relatively common in the Parks of Opatija, where this photograph was taken.
